- A great many stores had not set certain programs; even with Home Depot’s retail inventory replenishment system (CARS) there were stores that experienced stock outs.
- They were able to learn seasonal velocity trends and get a “second opinion” on retail inventory forecasting and replenishment. In fact they asked us to add Lowe’s to our sales analysis and with it identified errors in Lowe’s reordering on two separate occasions. They brought those opportunities to the buyer’s attention who quickly rectified them.
