Introducing a class to help you think like a retailer- Delivered to your desktop
As you know, I founded ERS to help you meet the challenges of frequent buyer turnover and an increased level of financial responsibility for managing the business. Addressing this need with software and consulting has enabled our company to grow rapidly. Still, I felt there was a missing piece to our offerings. We wanted to be able to impart a certain portion of our years of experience in a high level manner that would not require a lot of time or cost. This class presented itself as an ideal way to do so. Now we are taking the next logical step: Presenting it at your desktop in partnership with LIMA: International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association.
Topics include:
Understanding a buyer's point of view, expectations and openness to vendor management, looking for opportunities of growth (statistics, retail assortment, demographics), why tracking the business at store level matters (lost sales, opportunities, profiling, inventory productivity), ladder plans including assessing risk on margin guarantees, and a specific section on what you need to know to sell and grow your business with Wal-Mart. Since Wal-Mart knowledge is so important to the Toy Industry and Licensors, we thought you would be most interested in this addition to our class.
