James E. Lewis, Founder, Chief Executive Officer Jim is a former JC Penney buyer. He managed or bought key categories in Men’s, Children’s and Home Textiles throughout his 20+ year career. Recognizing a trend that retailer’s were increasing their expectations of the supplier base, Jim founded ERS in 2002 to help improve the retail business acumen of suppliers. Jim has been featured in Apparel, Toy Licensing and general publications and has conducted seminars at industry associations and trade shows including MAGIC. Jim was recently honored to conduct a seminar at his alma mater, The University of Florida, at the Miller Center for Retailing.
Sean Prouty, Director of Consulting Sean brings research, statistics, wholesale supply chain expertise and client focused consulting to our business. Sean started his career at Saks Fifth Avenue and Louis Vuitton. As a planner and analyst for a leading manufacturer, he managed and analyzed their business with key retail accounts including Wal-Mart, JCPenney and Kohl’s. He heads and manages our team of consultants.
David Matsil, President, Business Development David has 30+ years experience providing the Apparel, Textiles, Home Furnishing and other industries with technology solutions. He has a vast working knowledge of CAD, PDM, PLM, ERP, Supply Chain and retail analysis systems and has had articles published in several trade publications. David began his career in the sleepwear business.
Josh Coughlin, Chief Technology Officer Josh brings over ten years of experience in development and consulting to ERS. Josh’s background revolves around the apparel industry, a key market for ERS. He was the lead developer and business analyst for Sales-Aware, an SAAS company that provided services and software, also for Retail Analytics. More recently Josh worked for an apparel company supplying mass and mid-tier retailers as VP of Operations in charge of Logistics and Product Development and Production Cycle.
Lisa Maxwell, Business Consulting Advisor With over 17 years of retail experience at one of the Nation’s largest retail chains, Lisa brings expertise in brand development, buying, sourcing and team integration. She balances our analytic/technical knowledge with good old fashioned retailing based on design.
Hank Sienzant, Vice President of Customer Service and Technical Support Hank has 25 years of experience working with most EDI transactions from a manufacturer’s perspective and has dealt with all the major retailers in that role. A former EDI manager in the video entertainment industry, he brings his results-oriented approach to both customer service and our technical support area.
Paul Warren, Business Analyst Paul brings research, technical, and a perspective unique to trend analysis due to a background in history studies and experiences amalgamating information from dozens of inputs. Paul graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University with a major in History and minor in Economics.
